Some-times we feel lost and stagnant, and don't know where to start, we don't know what's the first thing to do. I will tell you, that the best thing to do when looking for your answer is to quiet your mind and ground yourself so you can receive your answers. After you've done your grounding, walking, reading, writing, meditation, or gardening and you're ready to journal, below are some examples of journal prompts and exercises you can use when trying to figure out who you even are, what is important to you, what life means to you, lessons learned and learning and your takeaways. Lastly, an exercise on who you are, what boundaries you have let people cross, and who you are becoming. In all the examples I wrote my own answers from my journals, but I strongly encourage you to try it out on your own.

As previously talked about Venn diagrams are amazing tools you can use to track your past, your current, and your on-going growth. Unfortunately, I was not able to add a Venn diagram to the blog, so I put it in a table. Below is an example of what I wrote down February 1st 2020.
Lessons Learned
PAST |
No financing vehicles, good credit is key, save your money for a rainy day, be careful who you share your soul and spirit with, be aware of yourself, put yourself first, control your emotions and thoughts. |
PRESENT |
A career is important, boundaries are important, self-control is important, working out is important. |
FUTURE |
GOALS: A car, debt-freedom, *career options* |

WHO AM I?
In this life of constant energies, uphill battles and dealing with the constant pressures of others, it is so easy to lose yourself, it is easy to fake it until you make it. You know what is hard though? Being real....not only with others but especially yourself. In this next exercise we are going to be looking at a table with different sub-headings. First, "I AM" here we go into deeper depth of who we really are as unique individuals and not what the world or society labels us. What feelings do you carry with you? That you don't tell anyone? Second, "BOUNDARIES" …. here we look into what negative things are you allowing in your life, relationships, work, and with yourself? Where do your boundaries stand? Have you set boundaries? Lastly, "I AM BECOMING"; who is the woman/man you want to be when this journey is over? Who are you aspiring to be? Once again I filled it in with my own answers but I encourage you to try this one out as well.
I AM |
Hurt, angry, insecure, untrusting, partly-aware |
BOUNDARIES- WHAT DO I ALLOW? |
Gaslighting, unequal energy, disrespectful communication |
I AM BECOMING |
Forgiving, peaceful, secure with self, intuitive, aware |
I hope that through this blog post you have been able to discover more about yourself. As I stated, we go through this life looking for the answers in the 3D world not realizing a lot of the answers are within us. We need to take the time and appropriate actions to dig within, reflect, and make goals and plans to how you want your future to look. You are all worthy, all amazing human beings, sometimes we don't even understand ourselves. Be gentle , be kind, with others but especially yourself.
